  • Session costs cover the time, creative vision / direction, post-processing / editing process, and image delivery. All images are delivered through a high resolution gallery which can be downloaded for printing and sharing.

Please note, session costs do not include:

    • Props, clothing, floral elements, etc. I am happy to provide a custom quote for these items or you are welcome to bring your own.

    • Prints - If you are interested in printing or framing your photographs, there is a stress free and easy way print your images directly from your final gallery.

  • I have a whole page dedicated to this question right here.

Most important to note, I am not interested in creating your average portrait or lifestyle sessions. I am, however, interested in documenting you and your loved ones in the most authentic, creative, fun, & loving way possible.

For example, this means that if you hire me for a child led family session, I am not going to focus on getting your kids to sit still and “cheese” in front of the camera. In fact, I might just be laying on the ground and getting dirty with them. If they stick their tongue out at me, I will probably stick my tongue out back at them! If you hire me for your wedding, I blend a mix of subtle posing and photo-documentary style images to create an honest portrayal of your day. I want to capture the movement, the grit, and the feel of your big day. I want to document your story authentically through brave, courageous, artful images.

I encourage creative ideas and recommend taking advantage of our brainstorming sessions before photo shoots to make something really special that you can look back on for years to come.

  • 1 - Trust. Trust. Trust.

I know that it can be incredibly hard to be in front of the camera when most of us have a scrolling list in the back of our minds telling us that we should look or act a certain way. My sessions designed to let you be free. I aim to create a space for you and your loved ones to be free of shame, to feel loved and seen, and to be a space where you can feel like yourself, breathe, feel like you are telling your story, and actually enjoy the memories you are making and capturing. Please let me know any accommodations and needs throughout the planning process. I am here to support you in staying true to who you are.

    2 - Light & Location

Light can make or break a beautiful image. It can also be something incredible to play with. To avoid harsh light on your face during a wedding ceremony, I recommend having your wedding ceremony about 1 hour before sunset or having the sun behind you during the ceremony. If you are getting ready, be sure to try to sit near a window and let that natural light soak you up.

Meaningful and intentional locations can make up so much of the vibe behind an experience and the images that follow.

    • Where do you feel drawn to?

    • Where do you feel most comfortable or connected to?

    • For young children, in home sessions are some of my favorite because it allows them to relax in a safe space, show off their toys, books, and favorite activities, and just have fun.

  • This varies depending on the session and coverage. On average you might receive 50-75 high quality, beautifully edited images per hour of shooting. For example for weddings, if you select a second shooter in your package, the number may be higher.

  • On average, you can expect to receive your completed gallery within 4 weeks of your session for portrait sessions and 8-10 weeks for weddings / elopements. I usually like to share “sneak peeks” with you as I am working on your photographs to get you excited about the final product.

Should you need your photographs quickly, I do have a “rush delivery” option which is an additional fee.

  • Nope! RAW files are not an accurate representation of my work and I consider it an unfinished product. I deliver professionally edited color and black & white images.

  • By hiring me to capture your photos, you are trusting my vision to capture you and your loved ones. I will not re-edit photos following a shoot, nor switch black + white photos to color or visa versa. If you have a preference, please let me know before the session and I will do my best to accommodate! In addition, please do not edit or place filters on the images I send you.

  • I cannot always accommodate a late start, which means if you are late you may not get your entire session time. Please be sure to plan ahead to ensure you are on time for your scheduled session.

  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: If you cancel your session without at least 14 days notice in writing, without rescheduling for a new time slot, you forfeit your deposit on the session. I understand life happens and reserve the right to handle those situations on a case-by-case basis.

Weather: I reserve the right to reschedule our session based on poor weather conditions depending on the concept of the shoot. I will do my very best to accommodate both of our schedules, but if you cannot or choose not to book another session you will forfeit your deposit. Hot take. A rainy day can be the perfect photo shoot.

  • I am fully vaccinated and am happy to wear a mask & social distance if that is your preference! Just let me know.
